Red Hat - Marketing Services & Events (Clone)

Red Hat Portfolio

Red Hat has worked with BRIGHT Inbound Marketing since 2009.  With years of experience in B2B technology marketing, BRIGHT provides email marketing services, event marketing and content marketing to help Red Hat execute more effectively, efficiently and with greater frequency.  We spoke to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Red Hat Australia and New Zealand about her experience with BRIGHT.

What marketing challenges do you face?

Red Hat ANZ's number one challenge is having the internal band-with to execute marketing on all the different focus areas of the company, as well as manage all the moving parts that go into a modern, integrated marketing campaign.

What do you use BRIGHT Inbound Marketing for?

Essentially an extension of our marketing team, we use them for all marketing related services across the whole spectrum of marketing activities.  Managing and executing integrated campaigns, running our events and delivering online marketing.

BRIGHT ran one of our largest initiatives last year, the Red Hat Forum - that rolled out to 8 cities in just over 3 weeks. These expert, technical sessions created a real buzz among the attendees. There was excellent networking and conversations around Red Hat solutions which converted into new opportunities.

How does BRIGHT help address your challenges?

By using BRIGHT, we are actually able to execute on more projects than we would be able to without them.  They provide not just extra manpower, but also additional marketing expertise, particularly in technology marketing and help us get campaigns into market faster.

They can manage the whole campaign for us, monitor it, and fine-tune it to make sure it’s effective.

What would you say to others considering BRIGHT?

By using BRIGHT, you are able to double and triple your marketing output overnight.  BRIGHT has become Red Hat’s internal agency. They know how we work, and can work within the Red Hat environment and processes.

They are fully embedded in the business and understand our goals and challenges.  It’s really not like a traditional agency relationship, it’s more an extension of the marketing team, and with extra senior level experience, extra specialist marketing knowledge and campaign management abilities.
