Air New Zealand- are you a Kiwi Sceptic?

Air New Zealand are renowned for their witty and irreverant content.  Their marketing team are doing a fantastic job of building New Zealand as the affable sibling to Australia - they tick all the boxes for a great holiday destination (scenery, shopping, culture, adventure) but don't take ourselves too seriously.  Their recent campaigns including the Richard Simmons Safety video and the "meet your flight attendant" have all been directed to engaging the consumer with entertaining content.

The latest campaign is no exception- 4 mini films of approx 6 mins, each targetting a different market- the "Bali Girl"- the princess who luxuriates in Bali villas and spas is taken shopping in Auckland and camping at a music festival, The "Hipster" who think he is heading for Berlin.... only to find out he is going to Wellington, "The Europhile" who  becomes enamoured with NZ Pinot Noir and the true blue Aussie who rates NZ as better than Vegas-high praise indeed!

The narration is hilarious- done by Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords) and to keep anyone engaged to watch 6 mins of film-it truly is a job well done.

As we say in the tomtom office, and apparently they say in NZ too - it is totes awesome.

Knowing your audience, engaging them with information and entertainment- Air New Zealand cover all the bases of great content marketing.

New Zealand.. Who knew!  We love NZ here and we love creating great content. Contact us to chat about Otago Pinot Noir, snowboarding in Queenstown and developing engaging content to target your buyers in the best way possible.
